I went to Bali to remember something I already knew

Listen. The world was doing a lot while I was gone. It’s always doing a lot. There will always be a reason to wait, to shrink, to say maybe next year and mean never.
I’ve been saying “Bali” for thirty years. Thirty. Years.
So this time I just… went. Packed my linen, got on the plane, and decided that my dreams don’t have to wait for the news cycle to calm down. Spoiler: it won’t. I stood at sacred temples. I sat in ceremony. I had a full day of silence that I honestly needed more than I realized. The island held me in a way I didn’t know I was waiting to be held. I had so much FUN.
I came back the same woman. Just clearer. Lighter. Like I’d put down a bag I didn’t even know I was carrying.
The world is still doing a lot. I’m just doing it too, on purpose, with intention, in a yellow dress.
