Description
This is where your spiritual practice begins; honoring those who came before you.
In this comprehensive voice guide, I walk you through everything you need to know about setting up and maintaining an ancestor altar, from the foundations of why this practice matters to the specific steps of building a sacred space in your home.
Drawing from years of ancestral rootwork and my Mississippi hoodoo lineage, I’m sharing the wisdom that’s been passed down through generations – combined with practical, accessible guidance for complete beginners.
What’s included in this 25-minute guide:
✨ Why ancestor veneration matters and how it protects and supports you in daily life
✨ How to choose the right location for your altar (even in small spaces or shared homes)
✨ Exactly what supplies you need – and what you don’t (this practice doesn’t require expensive items)
✨ Step-by-step instructions for physically setting up your altar with intention and reverence
✨ Your first prayer and offerings – what to say and how to make meaningful offerings
✨ Maintenance routines to keep your altar active and your connection strong
✨ Common mistakes to avoid (so you don’t accidentally dishonor your ancestors or attract unwanted energy)
✨ How to work with ancestors even if you don’t have photos or don’t know their names
This isn’t just instruction – it’s ancestral wisdom delivered in a way that feels personal, accessible, and deeply rooted in tradition. My voice will guide you through each step with clarity and care.
Perfect for: Anyone wanting to deepen their spiritual practice, connect with ancestral guidance, establish protection, or honor their lineage – whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to strengthen an existing practice.
What you’ll receive: Instant download of a 25-minute MP3 audio file that you can listen to as many times as needed while setting up your altar.
This is the foundation. Everything else in your spiritual practice builds from here.
