As I was finishing the new Manifestation oils this week, our energy allies for shifting, Unburden, Vision, and Power, something hit me hard.
I realized how many people say they’re “manifesting,” but aren’t actually doing the work of manifestation.
And I don’t say that from a place of judgment.
I say it from experience, from my own journey, and from watching hundreds of people try to manifest change without ever changing themselves.
I see it every day:
People want money, love, confidence, freedom, healing, new beginnings…
…but they don’t want to shift the beliefs, habits, environments, or self-worth patterns that keep them stuck.
And it had me thinking…
Is this why so many feel frustrated with manifestation? Is this wy so many think it doesn’t work? It’s not the process, it’s YOU.
Let’s talk about it.
🌑 1. Manifestation Isn’t Just Wanting — It’s Becoming
Most people think manifestation is:
saying an affirmation
lighting a candle
hoping for the best
But the real work is:
identity shift
nervous system regulation
emotional release
belief work
energetic alignment
consistent action
It’s uncomfortable.
It asks something of you.
It pulls you out of the familiar.
It requires you to become the version of you who holds the thing you want.
People say, “I’m manifesting,”
but their results tell you the truth.
Not because they’re lying…
but because they don’t yet recognize what manifestation really demands.
🔥 2. Why People Pretend They’re Doing the Work
As I was blending these oils, I kept thinking about this question:
Why do people say they’re doing the work when they’re not?
Here’s what I’ve learned:
A. Ego protection
It’s easier to say “I’m manifesting!” than to say:
“I’m overwhelmed and don’t know how to change.”
B. Fantasy feels safer than action
Thinking about change gives the brain a dopamine hit.
Real change requires effort and risk.
C. Identity fear
Manifestation requires you to become someone new —
someone confident, consistent, deserving.
That’s terrifying for most people.
D. Fear of judgment
People don’t want to be seen struggling, so they say “I’m doing it!” even when they’re not.
E. They’ve never been taught how
We live in a culture of aesthetic spirituality, not embodied spirituality.
🌞 3. The Age Divide (What I’ve Noticed in Person vs. Online)
Here’s the other part that really struck me:
When I’m selling in person,
20-somethings and 30-somethings will buy 3–4 oils at a time without hesitation.
They’re hungry. They’re curious. They’re willing to experiment.
But many in their 40s, 50s, and 60s, the ones who could benefit from these tools the most, hesitate. I
m not saying they don’t evventually get there but it takes longer.
Not because they don’t want change, but because they’ve been taught that change has to be hard, slow, or impossible.
Younger people grew up with spiritual tools being normal, tarot, crystals, astrology, spell oils, yoga, mindfulness.
They’ve been de-stigmatized.
Older generations were taught:
be practical
don’t make a big deal
don’t draw attention
don’t believe in “woo”
don’t experiment
don’t invest in yourself
So I am an older woman in a younger spiritual category
and honestly?
That’s my secret power.
Because younger people love my groundedness,
and older people NEED my groundedness.
Both groups feel my authenticity.
They feel the depth behind what I make.
They feel the lived life experience.
And that’s why they trust me.
🌟 4. People Want Results Without Change …and That’s the Real Block
This is the heart of it:
People want:
more money
better relationships
peace
opportunities
confidence
blessings
expansion
…but they don’t want to shift:
beliefs
behaviors
identity
energy
environment
patterns
Manifestation doesn’t respond to wanting.
It responds to alignment.
And alignment requires change.
My oils aren’t magic shortcuts, they’re support systems.
Tools that help people shift what feels unshiftable.
Anchors that hold the frequency while they rewire their identity.
They help you do the work you’re eant to do…
but without feeling alone or overwhelmed.
They meet you halfway.
🖤 Final Reflection
I’m saying all of this because I want you to understand something deeply:
Manifestation is not a performance.
It’s not an aesthetic.
It’s not something you “say you’re doing.”
It’s something you live.
And when you’re ready to live it
your tools, your rituals, your support systems matter.
Unburden • Vision • Power
But today, I wanted to talk about why they matter —
because these oils came from this exact realization.
Not everyone wants change.
But the ones who do?
Those are the ones who transform their entire lives.
And those are my people.
