🌍 Fear in a Constantly Changing World

My mom used to say, “Don’t borrow trouble.”

I think about that a lot these days. It was her way of reminding me not to get lost in worry about what hasn’t even happened yet, not to let fear write a story that hasn’t been lived. It’s simple, but it’s powerful wisdom: stay here, stay present, don’t carry tomorrow’s burdens in today’s hand.  It’s amazing comforting advise.

I know not everybody’s living in fear right now and that’s a good thing. Some people are in their peace era. They’ve done the work, they’ve built stability, they’re feeling grounded in who they are. This is where I am because as a person who reads patterns and has intuitive downloads, I saw this coming and have been prepared for almost a decade now. But others are moving through waves of uncertainty, anxiety, or just plain overwhelm, and I want to speak to that for a moment.

Because this world is changing, and fast. Every week it feels like another shift, another headline, another system crumbling or transforming before our eyes. And if you’ve been feeling that collective undercurrent of tension, you’re not alone. Even the most grounded, spiritually practiced souls can feel it right now. Fear is natural when the world looks unfamiliar.

The Nature of Fear

Fear gets a bad reputation, but it’s actually a messenger. It’s your nervous system trying to keep you safe in an unpredictable environment. It’s your inner protector saying, “Pay attention. Something’s shifting.”

Sometimes fear looks like over-controlling everything, trying to plan, predict, or perfect so nothing catches you off guard.

Sometimes it shows up as withdrawal, feeling numb, disconnected, or unmotivated.

And sometimes it’s just a quiet hum beneath the surface, like static in the background of your daily life.

The truth is: we can’t always control what’s changing around us. But we can control how we move through it. And that starts with presence. Fear wants you to pause, breathe, and reconnect with what’s real and eternal, your breath, your intuition, your inner wisdom.

The Reframe

Instead of trying to “get rid of” fear, what if we made space to listen to it? What if we used it as fuel for our fire? What if we

Because every time fear arises, there’s usually a deeper truth behind it, a calling to grow stronger, clearer, more courageous.

When you feel fear rise, ask yourself:

✨ “What truth is this fear trying to show me?”

✨ “What part of me is asking for reassurance or healing?”

✨ “What would courage look like right now, even in a small way?”

Fear isn’t your enemy. It’s an invitation to remember your power. An opportunity to come home to yourself when everything external feels uncertain.

The Practice

When fear visits, try not to push it away.

Breathe into it.

Put your hand on your heart and say, “I’m safe in this moment.”

Ground your body, touch the earth, light a candle, move your breath through your chest.

Remember that courage doesn’t mean you don’t feel fear; it means you keep your heart open even when you do.

Every time you meet fear with presence instead of panic, you transmute it. You turn survival into sovereignty. You teach your system that it’s safe to evolve.

Closing Reflection

We’re living in a time of collective transformation, one that asks us to evolve, not harden. To anchor into love, intuition, and community, not isolation.

So if you’re feeling a little shaky, remember this: the times are changing, YES, but so are you. You are learning to navigate a new world with ancient tools: breath, faith, and self-trust.

Let fear be the doorway to your next level of freedom.

Let it strengthen your spiritual muscles.

And let it remind you that even in uncertainty, your soul knows the way.

🕯️ Breathe. Ground. Listen. Move forward in grace. Reach out if you need support.  I have amazing tools and rituals to assist.

in LOVE. light and fuel, xo Donna
