Ā
Let me tell you what happened this week, because Mercury Retrograde in Leo tried to come for me. It really did. It came in with its tech glitches, website chaos, and general, āletās see what youāre made ofā energy. I almost lost it. Not tears lost it but I was shaking all over. But guess what? I won.
Now, Iām not exactly known for my love of backend website anything. Iām creative, intuitive, brilliant in many ways, but website techā¦not my native tongue. Still, I rolled up my sleeves (figuratively, because I live in dresses) and I got in there.
I was doing really well at first and just when I started patting myself on the back ⦠stuff broke.
Entire sections of my website disappeared. I mean poof. Gone. The old stuff that didnāt resonate and the photos I didnāt like anymore? Just vanished into thin air. After I calmed down the enternal optimist in me thought, āYou know what? Maybe thatās not Mercury being shady. Maybe thatās divine intervention.ā
Because hereās the thing.Ā I had been putting off changing things on the site because I was nervous to mess it up but I kept saying outloud āI donāt like these photos anymoreā and Mercury retrograde said āsay less, DELETEDā I couldnāt believe it.
Then, and hereās the part where the Universe winks. This picture I love showed up on my homepage. Not just any photo. THE photo. The one my agent literally grabbed off Instagram because it captures me so perfectly. Of all the photos that couldāve stuck⦠it was that one that showed up. And it was perfect.
I didnāt even try. It just⦠happened. It was almost like the ancestors stepped in and said, āBaby girl, move. We got this.ā AND DID.
So yes, I lost some stuff. But it turns out I didnāt need it anyway. What I gained was clarity, a cleaner site, a stronger sense of ownership, and a digital altar that actually reflects who I am right now. Not who I was a year ago or 3 years ago.Ā Just me, NOW, unfiltered and aligned.
Mercury Retrograde can be wild. But sometimes it clears out the junk drawer for you. Sometimes it pushes you into your next level by breaking the old scaffolding to build something new. And sometimes it leaves you with a homepage that actually makes you tear up a little because itās just that aligned and just that PERFECT.
